Hello! Together we have done some great things over the last five years in terms of riding, having fun and leaving a mark. Today I am writing to ask for your help in MAKING THE MILES MATTER.
Specifically, I want to recruit you into a motorcycle gang. Here’s your chance to fly your colors. Join riders from all over Ohio in our very own gang – The Hole In The Ground Gang – in support of Flying Horse Farms, Ohio’s own Hole In The Wall Camp for terminally & critically ill children (www.flyinghorsefarms.org) Together we can make a difference in the lives of kids from Ohio’s seven Children’s Hospitals who will be served by this Mt. Gilead, Ohio camp.
We think it would be pretty cool if we could build the kids a swimming pool (hence the “Hole In The Ground Gang!”). Here is how we think we can do it. LET’S RIDE. Let’s ride and have fun. Let’s ride and “Make The Miles Matter.” Starting now and ending on October 15, 2008, you can solicit your friends, family members, neighbors, co-workers and anyone else you can think of to pledge money toward every mile you ride over the next three-and-a-half months. A penny, a nickel, a dime or more per mile, this can add up to some real money for a great project! Let’s work together to “Make The Miles Matter!”
