Make The Miles Matter is not complicated – simply ask people to pledge money for the number of miles you cover on two wheels or four (or more – truckers welcome!), or even on foot, between now and October 15, 2008.
If someone pledges 1 cent per mile and you cover 5,000 miles, that is $50! If 99 more people do the same, you will raise $5000! An added plus is the fact that up to $3.5 million of the money we raise for Flying Horse Farms will be matched!
You are only limited by the amount per mile pledged and the number of family members, friends, co-workers, etc., who you ask to help. Besides doing a lot of good, reach certain milestones in your fundraising and you also can earn prizes!
Getting started is easy. On this website you will find pledge forms. Print out the page, and start collecting pledges! See you on the highway, byway, park path or wherever your travels take you as you “Make The Miles Matter!”
